WELCOME TO FORM 2 YEAR 

 In form 2 the children will study

English - Grammar & punctuation, comprehension, factual and creative writing, poetry & reading (heard daily)

Maths - Addition and subtraction with place value, multiplication tables (2x 5x 10x) and division, weighing and measuring & sequencing patterns 2D & 3D and tessellations, money & problem solving.

Science - The human body plant life, forces, materials & electricty

History - The ancient Egyptians, the ancient Chinese and the ancient Greeks. The children also complete a project each term on a topic that instersts them linking to the main subject.

Geography - Simple mapping skills, reading signs / symbols and maps, the geography of China, the oceans and their inhabitants,

Art and Design - The children will experience a variety of media in their art studies

IT - they will have all IT lessons in the computer suite learning all aspects of computer skills

Homework is set three times a week to be handed in the next day. Reading homeword is given every night.

Exams - the children will take tests in subjects throughtout the year
