Harvest Festival Service

The Harvest Festival service is held each year at St. John's church in Danbury. The children bring a decorated box (a shoebox is about the right size - please remember that your child will have to carry their gift whilst walking up to the church) filled with non-perishable goods or some coins to put into the retiring collection. A speaker form the charity CHESS will talk to the children a little about where their contributions are going and how it will help people. There will be harvest hymns and the choir will sing a harvest song.
