Welcome to CONNECTIONS, the page that connects you with the latest news and information.

This has been such an emotional week for everyone! Today we said goodbye to a fantastic Y6. Their special assembly yesterday was truly special and memorable. I have known many of these children since they were tiny and am proud to see them stepping into the young adult world with such confidence. I will miss everyone of them and wish them all a wonderful future.

We have also said good bye to Mrs. Rigler and Mrs Ball and everyone wishes them well. However, the most emotional departure has to be that of Mrs. Appleton, a simply amazing lady who we will all miss tremendously. Have a ball in NZ Helen and take our love with you!

The big news for us all to come back to is that Mrs Carn is now the school Principal. I have known Mrs Carn since she was a very little girl and have the utmost respect for her many fine qualities. She is totally supported by her very clever husband and the school can only thrive under Mrs Carn's care. As well as her teaching qualifications and experience Mrs. Carn is completing a degree course in business studies and management which will enhance her abilities as Principal. The school is in very safe hands!

Enjoy the summer break everyone, and come back safe and refreshed for another successful year in September.

Our new website and its cousin Phanfare, are still developing fast and we hope that you are enjoying looking at both. However!!! we are aware that this is all very much in the early stages and we are constantly making changes to improve both of these services.

Phanfare is an exciting innovation, we are hoping to target the photos to particular parents soon, rather than all photos to all parents. This way some of the emails should be reduced.

Information on the website is still being added, but this takes time, please be patient. We will look at the diary area to ensure the information you need there is easily accessed and is up to date.

We welcome your comments and suggestions about the website and Phanfare. We are very lucky that Mr Carn and his team of experts are able to advise and make changes that, to the technologically challenged , seem impossible. Please talk to us so the website eventually meets your needs as well as ours.

If you would like to order BUZZ (Yrs 2/3/4) or CIRCA (Yrs 5/6), the Maths magazines, please send a note with the money to Mr Ewan. Old copies are available to view from Mr Ewan.

We would like to know what activities the children are involved in outside school. Please let us know if they play an instrument, belong to a club, participate in a particular sport or have a hobby at home that they really enjoy. If they receive prizes, certificates or any other accolade we would like them to share it with the school at our celebration assembly which is held on Fridays. Perhaps they have photographs or can write a short account of their activity that we can post on the children's page of the website. Don't keep that talent in the dark - tell us all about it!

Thank you to those who have returned their email and mobile telephone contact details. These are being entered into the system ready to use in the near future. Texts and emails will ensure that information reaches you quickly.
