Form V Kit

When your child  goes into Form V they will need the following extra
items for use in school:

A good quality soft rubber
A ruler with cm. and mm.  markings - 30cm. in length, not flexible type
Two good HB pencils
A set of felt tip pens (tip not too narrow)
A black felt pen (narrow tip)
Red pens (fine) gel or biro but not felt (for underlining)
A set of coloured pencils
A pencil sharpener (with container for sharpenings)
A 180 protractor clear in order to see through it
A glue pen or Prittstick
A pair of scissors for cutting paper (not pointed please)
2 good quality cartridge pens (one for home) plus cartridges (Blue Ink)
A dictionary - Oxford or Collins.
A calculator - (Simple, with large clear nos. buttons % and square root functions.)
A Thesaurus
A painting apron - named (an old shirt or similar)
Please see that all the above items are named. A permanent pen works well.
FOR GAMES THE FOLLOWING EQUIPMENT IS REQUIRED:
Waterproof trainers (white only)
White plimsolls  to be kept in school ALL THE TIME in a plimsoll bag on their peg
Girls will require ballet shoes if they are doing dance classes
Football boots for the boys
Royal blue regulation swimming trunks for boys
Royal blue regulation swimming costume for girls
A swimming hat for boys and girls
All other games kit specified on the uniform list
A standard Heathcote School games kit bag

We would also ask parents to ensure that rain macs are kept in school bags at all times.

Please ensure that all items (with the exception of the swimming wear) are available
on the first day of term and that EVERYTHING is labelled, including footwear,
underwear, pencils etc.
