Welcome to CONNECTIONS, the page that connects you with the latest news and information.

Our new Parents Association Committee has been busy organising a host of events for the coming year, the first of which is the Christmas Bazaar on Friday Nov. 28th. Do come along if you can, this is always an enjoyable occasion. The PA has its own section on the website, look under the heading 'Parents' and click Parents Association. The new committee has put an introductory letter on the site and will also put dates of future events there so do keep checking it out.

Mr Ewan is going to be homeless for one night on November 28th. Before you rush to offer him a bed I have to tell you he has already made sleeping arrangements in a graveyard in Chelmsford. Last year nearly £1000 was raised for CHESS by volunteers who agreed to be homeless for one night . Mr Ewan must have slept well as he is going to do it again and is looking for sponsors. CHESS is a very worthy cause, it is a charity run by Chelmsford Churches to help the homeless in our area. They have several centres where a hot meal, a bed and a listening ear can be found. These people have usually gone through some major upheaval in their life which has left them without anything and CHESS gives them the help to rebuild their lives and their self-esteem. Please sponsor Mr Ewan, forms are available from him or from the office.

We have an amendment to the letter about the Christmas Stocking competition. This is open to all children not just those from y2 upwards. The stockings should be made at home and more details are on the original letter.

The school is always looking for ways to improve; we have an improvemnt plan which demonstrates our commitment to investing in the future. Sometimes however, ideas for change come out of the air, perhaps at a staff meeting or from a conversation with a parent. This has happened this week and we are very excited about a possible change that will make a big difference to several areas of the school. Watch this space!

Please remember to check the date list on the website regularly for additions and amendments to the list.

Open Evening dates are at the end of this page.

We welcome your comments and suggestions about the website and Phanfare. We are very lucky that Mr Carn and his team of experts are able to advise and make changes that, to the technologically challenged , seem impossible. Please talk to us so the website eventually meets your needs as well as ours.
