Heathcote School & Nursery has achieved the Gold School Games Mark award for their commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive school sport in 2018/19.

Heathcote School is a member of the Independent Schools Association (ISA), the registered charity that supports 528 of the UK’s best independent schools.

Heathcote was runner-up in the 2018 National Art Competition for Art 3D Key Stage 2.

Heathcote was also awarded:

1st place Art 2D – Individual EYFS

Heathcote School took part in the ISA National Indoor Ski Competition in Hemel Hemstead in April 2019.

Heathcote Preparatory School and Nursery were shortlisted for the Creativity award in the Independent School Awards 2018

All Heathcote School pupils who sat the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) exams in 2018 passed with Distinction or Merit, with six children receiving full marks.

I Vasireddy – Gold in the U16 girls Pattern & Speed Kicking and Silver in the Junior girls Sparring & Power Kicking
L Abugu – Gold in the boys Pattern & Speed Kicking and Silver in the boys Sparring & Power Kicking
D Abugu – Gold in the boys Power Kicking and Silver in the boys Speed Kicking

 

I Vasireddy – 2nd place in the girls pattern competition at the Lincolnshire Open Invitational Taekwondo Championships

B Watley – 3rd place in the National Poetry Competition for his “Peace” poem – this was announced in the House of Lords!

E Otto-Onslow – Area Winner (East of England A) in the Royal Mail’s Christmas Stamp Design Competition
