Equipment

Children do not need to bring any equipment to school until they enter Year 3. However, they have their own named trays in which to store any items they do wish to bring.

Year 3

  • Good quality soft rubber
  • Perspex ruler with cm. and mm. markings – 30cm in length – not flexible
  • Two good HB pencils
  • A set of coloured pencils
  • A set of felt tip pens (fine at one end and broad at the other)
  • A pencil sharpener with container for sharpening
  • A pair of scissors (not pointed please)
  • A Pritt stick
  • Simple dictionary – Oxford or Collins pocket size
  • A4 file with plastic pockets for bringing in homework tidily

Year 4

In addition to the above:

  • Pink and green pens (fine) gel or biro but not felt (for self marking)
  • A calculator (simple, with large clear number buttons, % and square root functions and memory buttons)

Year 5 and 6

In addition to the above:

  • A black felt pen (narrow tip)
  • 180 protractor – clear in order to see through it
  • Thesaurus

Please ensure that all items are labelled, including footwear, underwear, pencils etc. We do not have a lost property box. Any lost item that is labelled is returned immediately.
