Heathcote school has been awarded ‘Junior School of the Year’ at the 2021 Independent Schools Association (ISA) National Awards, which recognise excellence in independent education across the country.
The judges highlighted Heathcote’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, exemplary teamwork, family support, technology provision and staff upskilling, while at the same time being able to meet pupils’ needs.
Miss Georgie Pennycook has been awarded the Pearson National Teaching Silver Award for Outstanding New Teacher of the Year, reflecting her outstanding commitment to enriching the lives of the children she works with every day.
Heathcote School is a member of the Independent Schools Association (ISA), the registered charity that supports 528 of the UK’s best independent schools.
Heathcote received 2 first place awards in the 2020 National Art Competition.
Heathcote School & Nursery has achieved the Gold School Games Mark award for their commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive school sport in 2018/19.
Heathcote was runner-up in the 2018 National Art Competition for Art 3D Key Stage 2.

Heathcote School took part in the ISA National Indoor Ski Competition in Hemel Hemstead in April 2019.
Heathcote Preparatory School and Nursery were shortlisted for the Creativity award in the Independent School Awards 2018
All Heathcote School pupils who sat the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) exams in 2019 passed, with 94% receiving Distinction or Merit.
In 2018, all Heathcote School pupils passed with Distinction or Merit, with six children receiving full marks.
