Heathcote is incredibly proud of our Form 6 pupils! Once again, we have achieved a 100% success rate for places offered at prestigious independent secondary schools. Adding to this achievement, every scholarship application submitted was successful, with awards granted for music and sport. Congratulations, Form 6! This success is the result of a carefully structured programme of hard work and dedication. Our superb staff support pupils in striving for excellence through a well-rounded curriculum, challenging opportunities and specialist-led sessions. These include twice-weekly 11+ skill development lessons, targeted homework preparation, dedicated secondary examination clubs (held both before and after school) and intensive booster days during the Easter and Summer holidays to keep Form 5 on track.
As an examination centre for ISEB and AAT tests, Heathcote ensures pupils can take these important assessments in a familiar, supportive environment—one where they feel valued, respected and confident. This setting allows them to truly showcase their talents and achievements, and the results speak for themselves!
Before pupils complete the final stage of the entrance process—interviews and presentations—our Headteacher, Mrs. Scott, provides small-group and one-on-one coaching. Through practice questions, tailored discussions, and presentation rehearsals, pupils refine their skills and build confidence, ensuring they present themselves at their very best.
